No, really, you don't have to. Well, not unless you want to. I don't recommend it.
I have what appears to be a pinched nerve in my back. All I can say is ow. And ow again. I hate being dependent on Thomas to get out of bed in the mornings. Monday morning, I tried to get out of bed on my own, and fell. I had to wait for Thomas to get out of the bathtub and help me up. Not pretty at all. The doctor is supposed to fit me in tomorrow, but who knows when. *sigh*
My 10 year High School reunion is tomorrow and Saturday. I'm ambivalent about it at this point in time. We're going to the football game tomorrow with a meet 'n greet at a local bar after that, and then a picnic at lunchtime on Saturday followed by the real reunion Saturday night. We shall see how interesting it is....

Why am I going to get my degree again?
Oh yeah. I remember why now.
We ordered pizza tonight. The guy who delivered the pizza was old enough to be my dad. I know I've seen him during the day as well, doing the same thing.
I don't want to be that guy.

Halloween is... well... not really here yet.
It's not. I'm just a goofball that likes to purchase costumes and outfits and the like when I have money to do so... which happens to be the beginning of the school year.
TJ kept telling me he wanted to be a doctor when he grew up. So I asked him what he wanted to be for Halloween. I shouldn't have bothered, because then I wouldn't have gotten the dismissive sigh and "uh, a doctor." ¬_¬
Kayla adores the playdresses from Hanna Andersson. If I would let her (and if she could wear them to school), she'd wear these things 24/7. I'm REALLY glad they hold up as well as they do, that's for sure. So, anyway, we were looking at the new fall stuff on their site, and we saw these. This combination is what Kayla picked out. Surprisingly, Thomas likes it just fine. If you knew him, you would know how rare that occurrence is.

Gustav
Yeah, that was interesting.
So, after hearing that Gustav was a Category 4, the hubby and I decided that we needed to really buckle down and prepare. So we went the whole route -- taped and tarped the windows, sandbags and plywood across the sliding glass doors, stocked up on bottled water and canned and non perishable foods...
And we got a Category 2 instead.
Mind you, no complaints, really. I'm glad to know that the storm was so mild in comparison to what was expected. But still... I'm wishing I hadn't spent the money I did, ya know?
I managed to sneak outside with my camera and grab a couple of silent videos. One was during the worst of it, and one was afterwards, when TJ went running into the flooded parking lot. For some reason, the first one is turned on its side and I can't figure out how to turn it back the way it should be. Just tilt your head to the side, you'll be fine.

First Blog Post
Ohh, what to say, what to say?? No, really, what do you say?
I don't know that I can say I'm here to entertain, but I hope I do.
